This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and make a meaningful impact on the organisation's mission.Key Responsibilities:Content Creation and ManagementDevelop engaging multimedia content for digital and channels, including photography and videography of exhibitions and events.Design digital assets like event invites, social media posts, and promotional materials.Measure and benchmark social media performance to refine engagement strategies and develop targeted campaigns.Manage paid social media ad campaigns, ensuring optimal performance.Collaborate with Communications and Marketing Managers to align digital strategy with broader marketing goals.Social Media and CampaignsOversee the creation, scheduling, and engagement of content across digital platforms.Manage content placement and timing on platforms like the website and social media, using data insights to optimize strategies.Manage the organisation's social media accounts and respond to inquiries and comments in a timely manner.Implement and optimise campaigns across social media and digital channels.Manage daily updates and interactions on digital platforms, ensuring timely and effective communication.Analyse data and generate reports to track engagement and content performance.Respond promptly to messages, media inquiries, and queries.Monitor social media to maintain Zeitz MOCAA's online presence and reputation, addressing feedback and inquiries efficiently.Collaborate and SupportParticipate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for content development.Support media events and public programming with digital coverage, including outside regular hours.Plan and execute social media and digital activities for museum events, programs, and initiatives.Assist the Communications Team with administrative tasks as needed.Collaborate with Curatorial, Art Education, Institutional Advancement, and Events teams to develop content aligned with exhibitions, education, and museum activities.Document Zeitz MOCAA events through photos and videos for digital platforms.Manage and archive all digital content, including photography and video assets.Coordinate with the broader communications team and external agencies as needed.What you will need to be successful in the roleTertiary education in a Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field.Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in digital with a portfolio of work which includes writing for brands and social media.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and other multimedia editing tools.Well-developed and proven written and verbal communication skills.A love for the arts and creative field with an eye for detail.Knowledge of social media analytics tools and best practices.Video editing and photo editing skills to improve the standard of visuality of all outgoing museum assets.Animation design to improve the standard of paid media assets for promotional purposes.Graphic design and the technical prowess to conceptualise and create engaging visual content.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and content creation.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others and within a team.Ability to effectively multitask and coordinate a high level of activity under a variety of conditions and constraints and completion within deadlines.Experience working with digital marketing tools such as: Google analytics, email marketing platforms, SEO tools, PPC platforms and content management systems (i.e. WordPress).Zeitz MOCAA is an inclusive employer committed to diversity, equity, and welcoming candidates from historically disadvantaged backgrounds.
