Diesel Truck Mechanic

Job Description:As a Truck Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of trucks and trailers that support our tree service operations. Your expertise will ensure our fleet remains in optimal working condition, contributing to our commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a fleet of trucks and trailers, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.Diagnose mechanical issues using computerized diagnostic tools and industry knowledge.Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.Replace or repair faulty parts and components as needed.Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.Collaborate with the operations team to schedule maintenance and minimize downtime.Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and new repair techniques.Qualifications:Proven experience as a truck mechanic or in a similar role.Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Valid driver's license; a commercial driver's license (CDL) is a plus.Company Description:At Dom's Tree Service, we specialize in professional tree pruning and care, serving both residential clients and city contracts.
