Diesel Mechanic

1.inspects and repairs trucks 2. handle routine repairs, including oil and tire change 3.interprets diagnostic test results accuratelywrite detailed inspection reports and repair plans4.hires,trains and manages a team of tainee5.complete test drives to make sure the vehicle runs correctly6.follow all motor vehicle repairs shop regulations and standards7.Inspecting vehicle systems, including suspensions, steering and exhausts8.Repairing or replacing vehicle transmissions, brakes, engines and other associated parts9.Conducting field visits in the case of an emergency or sudden breakdown10.Test driving repaired vehicles to gauge their performance11.Completing oil changes, wheel balancing, alignment and brake checks12.Maintaining records of parts inventory and serviced vehicleEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:91.A high school diploma or equivalent is required.2.National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence certified diesel mechanics 3.trade test4.At least 5 years minimum of experience as a diesel mechanic is required5. must have experience with VOLVO TRUCKS AND TRAILERS
