Apply Now My Client a leading national freight company is looking for a qualified Red Seal Diesel Mechanic
Requirements
Qualified Red Seal Diesel Mechanic
Valid SA Code 14 EC drivers license PrDP
Own reliable transport.

Duties and responsibilities
Prepared to work shifts and overtime from time to time
At least 10 years post Trade Test experience
Fault finding, maintenance and repairs and servicing of all trucks and associated equipment
Must understand hydraulics and electronics to do fault finding
Must be able to interpret parts and workshop manuals, schematics etc.
Solid knowledge and understanding of risk assessments, SOPs, HARBs and all other safety requirements
Must be medically fit
Knowledge of preventive maintenance
Complete and maintain joboriented documentation, i.e. worksheets, job cards, service records
Ability to sourceorder all the required partsequipment to service and maintain the fleet
Driving experience with a link singleaxle dolly drawbar trailer highly beneficial
.

Availability for change of residence Yes
