Devexpress Report Writer

Job Purpose
Responsible for developing customised reports from databases to extract and collect data according to PaySpace requirements. Building and repairing data reports and software applications are primary duties.
Duties and Responsibilities

Report writing
Create and troubleshoot reports
Create advanced legislative reports for all the countries we provide legislative services in.
Design and write custom reports for our clients using DevExpress report writer
Write these reports and configures them in the development lifecycle.
Responsible for the successful design, development and deployment of these reports
Responsible for improving the technology around our reporting architecture to better our software and process and constantly align with new technologies, thereby enabling our clients for self-support.
Responsible for improving the performance regarding the execution time of the reports.
Knowledge share DevExpress report controls and best practices within the report team.

Requirements
Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: C# or VB for ASP.NET
Strong knowledge of SQL Server including stored procedures, views and functions and table design
Familiarity with GIT and understanding the software development lifecycle.
Problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
Strong organisational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines
Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly
Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment
Zero to three years of related experience

Preferred
Qualification in computer science or a related field
