DESKTOP PUBLISHING ADMINISTRATOR - CASUAL
CORE PURPOSE
To provide support and supervision to the Curriculum Development and Management by assisting with the formatting of the layout of the module guides and ensuring new and existing curriculum are at a ready state to ensure that MANCOSA meets its strategic objectives and goals.
CORE FUNCTIONS INCLUDE MANAGING THE FOLLOWING:
Formatting of all Module Guides
•Perform all formatting and layout editing on new and old Module Guides
•Maintaining presentation quality and consistency of all Module Guides
•Adhering to production deadlines
Re-drawing of diagrams in Module Guides
•Re-construct poor and unclear diagrams in the old Module Guides
Programme Information Sheets
•Ensure Programme Information Sheets are accurately and fully completed
•Liaise with Programme Coordinators to ensure this is done timeously
•Format Programme Information Sheets as per the template
Regulatory Bodies
•Prepare for and ensure attendance at any site visits relating to the academic programmes
•Actively participate in CHE Audit and site visits together with the other members of Management
•Participate in any regulatory body activity
•Ensure Compliance to regulatory standards
General
•Adhere to and loyally perform reasonable instructions, functions and tasks
•Assist and attend institution functions as and when required
•Fulfil any other reasonable request from Management
Job Requirements:
Qualifications and Experience
•Minimum 1 year
•Experience with engaging with the following software: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
•Deadline driven and process orientated
