We have an opportunity for a DEPUTY Factory Manager at a Vereeniging Factory. Seeking a, energetic, goal & career orientated individual. You must have a solid and traceable track record. This is a demanding but rewarding role with excellent career opportunities. This is an international company with excellent benefits including: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : Support CEO, SNR Factory, and other Deputy Factory Managers as well as Junior Factory Managers in operational management and team development of all the factories. Excellent maintenance skills required Recruitment, training, and development of personnel Asset preservation through the development, implementation, and management of effective systems Develop and implement best practices in all areas of the factory Being a credible leader that develops and guides operational teams and individuals in achieving targets Driving continuous improvements and waste elimination to reduce costs and improve quality Product development to ensure sustained fashionable and value-for-money product ranges Project management of capital projects Development of new products and technology Financial control of factory costs Safety and risk management in terms of legislation Sourcing of new local and international suppliers Identification and development of future leaders in the business Ensure the factory is focused on agreed key performance indicators KEY STRENGTHS / ABILITIES: Able to work autonomously Must be energetic, active, and a go-getter Manage growth and change in a professional and entrepreneurial manner Adaptive and creative to meet targets Developing and leading teams and individuals toward common long-term objectives and short-term goals Hands-on and results-driven Focused on customer and business needs Tenacious on goal delivery Elevated level of attention to detail Analytical and detail-oriented problem solver Ability to notice opportunities Challenge established practices to evaluate the validity Engineering and project management skills to drive and deliver continuous improvement Strong work ethic Strategic and big-picture thinker Emotional intelligence and robustness, diplomatic MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Minimum BSc Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Chemical / Electrical / Industrial or Metallurgist)/Previous Millwright / Electrical Qualification will be advantageous but not a necessity.Excellent Managerial SkillsMin 5 -10 years solid & traceable track record in a similar positionPreferred age range: 30 - 45 years of age.
