Our client is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join a reputable motor dealership in the Johannesburg North area.As a Service Advisor, you will act as the key point of contact between customers and the service department.Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional service, manage service bookings, communicate effectively with clients, and ensure their vehicles are serviced and repaired in a timely and efficient manner.Key Responsibilities:Greet customers and assess their service needs, offering guidance and recommendations regarding maintenance and repairs.Schedule service appointments and ensure the accurate booking of services, parts, and technicians.Communicate clearly with customers regarding vehicle issues, estimated costs, and repair timelines.Provide accurate cost estimates for services and repairs and ensure that customers are fully informed of the work required.Act as the liaison between the customer and the service department, coordinating the smooth flow of information.Monitor the progress of vehicle repairs and services, updating customers on the status of their vehicles.Prepare and maintain service records, including work orders, customer communications, and billing details.Ensure that vehicles are ready for customer pick-up in a timely manner.Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.Follow up with customers after the service has been completed to ensure satisfaction and foster customer loyalty.Work closely with the workshop technicians and service manager to ensure optimal workflow and service delivery.Maintain knowledge of the dealership's products, services, promotions, and policies.Key Requirements:Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.Previous experience in a Service Advisor or similar role at a motor dealership.Strong understanding of automotive maintenance and repair processes.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Strong customer service orientation with a professional and approachable demeanor.Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.Attention to detail and ability to manage service schedules accurately.Ability to handle complaints and customer concerns professionally.Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with dealer management systems or related software.A valid driver's license is required.Personal Attributes:Professional, reliable, and customer-centric.Problem-solving skills with a solution-driven approach.Ability to work independently and within a team.Strong time management and organizational skills.
