ABOUT THE COMPANY:
OAG is the leading data platform for the global travel industry, powering the growth and innovation of the air travel ecosystem. It has the world's largest network of flight information. In 2023, OAG acquired Infare, the leading provider of competitor air travel data, empowering airlines and other travel industry players to make effective pricing decisions. Together, OAG and Infare form part of the most trusted data platform for aviation and make travel better by empowering the global travel industry with high-quality, relevant datasets covering the whole journey from planning to customer experience. Data is at the heart of everything we do. We are headquartered in the UK, with operations in the USA, Denmark, France, Germany, Singapore, Japan, China, and Lithuania.
ABOUT THE PROJECT / ROLE:
You will be working in our Schedules team. The team consists of 8 people currently evenly divided between Kaunas and Luton. Team members' experience varies from 6 months to 43 years with the company. This means you'll have fellow new starters to share your journey with, as well as experienced colleagues who can offer extensive guidance and support.
Everything you do will be focused on making our data better. We're passionate about our data. OAG collects data from thousands of airlines, airports and aviation companies. We load it into our systems, correct it, align it and produce the data our customers need to keep their businesses running. If you've ever bought a flight, there's a good chance you've used our data.
Because aviation is a global, twenty-four-hour business you will be expected to work five days a week. The usual working hours in the LT team are 09:00-18:00. However, once you are able to work independently, you might need to work from 14:00 until 22:00 up to two days a week. Also, in the future, once you feel more comfortable with your knowledge, you might participate in the On-Call rota to support out-of-hours issues. Within those constraints, we are flexible and rely on the team to work together to make sure we have the right number of people available, and everything covered.
