You will be responsible for managing data operations, including data acquisition, transformation, and loading processes, to enable the smooth functioning of data management systems and processes.

Position Overview:
A Data Quality Analyst is responsible for maintaining the firm's data integrity. Reporting to the Data Governance and Management Lead, they collaborate with various business roles to assess and improve data quality, implement data processes, policies, and standards, manage data accuracy, audit information, and work with stakeholders to resolve any core data quality issues. Additionally, they provide input and monitor automated processes, and identify areas for process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Enity Data Management:
· Allocates resources for ad hoc data quality remediation exercises.
· Manages daily capacity and task delivery of interns.
· First escalation point for data capturers
· Communicates delay to stakeholders and the expected turnaround times.
· Maintain rules for master data management and collaborate with Independence SMEs to keep list of Independence rules updated.
· Train interns on processes and rules
· Maintain processes for data capture and review.
· Monitor daily reporting operational metrics.
· Knows how to navigate domain data management systems and technology
2. Domain Data Management:
· A good understanding of the domain data management processes and applicable business processes and rules.
· Provides expert guidance to data capturers and reviewers.
· Knows how to navigate domain data management systems and technology
3. Data Quality Remediation:
· Responsible for monitoring data quality dashboard and where applicable liaising with other key data roles such as Process Owners, Business SMEs, Risk SMEs and OGC SMEs, NIS SMEs to discuss and agree on how to remediate data quality anomalies.
· Work with business SME to perform root cause analysis to identify underlying causes t bad data
3. Documentation and Reporting:
· Facilitate workshops to draft data quality rules, entity relationship diagrams and any other applicable data analysis documentation.
· Ensure that these data quality rules are updated in the dashboards and systems where they are in use.
· Work with business SME to document business rules, processes, system mapping diagrams that are critical when reading and interpreting the data.
4. Awareness and Socialisatiion:
· Socialise business processes, rules and applicable documents that impact the quality of the data within the data domain.
· Work with business SME to operationalise processes and policies within the data domain.
· Work with business SMEs to drive awareness of good data management practices within the domain.
· Participate in the applicable data forums.
· Document playbooks promoting good data practices.
5. Data Use Approval:
· Work with Business SME and other key roles to facilitate data use approval
6. Continuous Improvement:
· Identify opportunities to enhance data quality processes, tools, and techniques, leveraging innovative approaches to improve overall data management strategies.
· Contribute to ongoing assessments of the effectiveness of data quality practices, proposing adjustments based on industry trends and organizational needs.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
· Any Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
· Certifications in data governance (e.g., DAMA Certified Data Management Professional) would be advantageous.
· Experience: Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in data governance, data quality management, or related roles within a complex organizational environment.
Technical Skills:
· Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality principles, and best practices.
· Proficient in data management tools and technologies, with experience in data modeling, metadata management, and data profiling.
· Understanding internal PwC systems like CES, Oracle and Salesforce will be beneficial.
Soft Skills:
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
· Analytical and detail-oriented mindset, with a proactive approach to problem solving and decision making.
