Data Management and Marketing Analytics Leader The opportunity The Data Management and Marketing Analytics Leader is responsible for delivering an effective global measurement and data strategy.

This includes:

- Devising KPIs mapped to the client/prospect, talent and employee journeys
- Identifying and building out audience segments
- Supporting data-driven insights, optimization and marketing automation
- Supporting the implementation of new technology platforms
- Owning the analytics products and roadmap

You will have responsibility for leading a virtual global team of marketing analysts and data specialists whose core responsibilities include:

Your key responsibilities

In this role, you play an important role of leading a virtual global team of marketing analysts and data specialists whose core responsibilities include:

- Marketing analytics:
Enabling to analyse the effectiveness of the global external- and internal-facing marketing and communications channels including web, advertising, physical events, email, social, video and webcast. This includes developing and delivering training, and product management of analytics products

- Data management:
Managing the core data sets and analytics environment used to identify and build target audience segments and analyse performance. This includes data extraction, data integration, database management and use of analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, R and Python.

- Team leadership:
Own skills assessment/mapping for analytics team and implementation of required steps to close skills gaps. Support recruitment - interview candidates, define competency tests and assessments, ensure recruitment process is adhered to. Should also own analytics vision and roadmap, set priorities, drive agile delivery methodology, and coach and lead team to ensure successful project delivery.

- Marketing analytics:
Work directly with stakeholders across to develop and deploy the impact reporting framework and standards needed to analyse and measure contribution to marketing and business objectives. Own the Platform Benefits framework - a management tool to ensure that marketing technology investments are delivering business benefits. Drive and ensure compliance with KPI and data quality standards and Build and scale the Analytics Center of Excellence. Should also develop content and training for the function and facilitate training sessions, Create and maintain analyst networks within to further enhance and mature the use of data

Skills and attributes for success

- Demonstrate deep digital analytics knowledge and a thorough understanding of marketing performance management, including return on investment for marketing campaigns
- Knowledgeable about key performance indicators specifically for B2B or professional services organizations
- Demonstrate deep understanding of core marketing concepts and approaches including marketing automation, tag management, audience segmentation and targeting, optimisation and personalization
- Own skills assessment/mapping for analytics team and implementation of required steps to close skills gaps
- Own analytics vision and roadmap, set priorities, drive agile delivery methodology, and coach and lead team to ensure successful project delivery

To qualify for the role, you must have

- Demonstrate deep maths and statistics affinity and knowledge; be exact and detail-oriented
- Have extensive experience in and understanding of data extraction and manipulation and a good understanding of database design and SQL programming
- Highly proficient in digital marketing tools and concepts such as Sprinklr, Marketo, Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Target, social listening and tag management
- Able to work effectively with IT; navigate their processes and teams to maintain and develop systems and tools

Ideally, you’ll also have

- Hands-on experience with web analytics products, specifically Adobe Analytics
- Knowledgeable about advanced data analytics and their application in a global, complex environment
- Experienced with agile delivery and scrum
