Fundamental elements of this transformation relate to the application of new digital technologies to enable new ways of work based on Integrated Operations, Digital Value Chains, Automation and Autonomy, Asset Intelligence, Operational Intelligence and Advanced Planning and Scheduling.
As the successful candidate, you will:
Hatch is looking for an experienced Data Leads with experience in both production and quality, and maintenance data. This will require:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in heavy chemicals, mineral processing plant projects including deep experience working within the production, maintenance or related areas
Experience in working with SAP Implementation partners, SAP work processes and/or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) will be an advantage
Experience related to digital transformation programs and/or global ERP system implementation will be an advantage
A relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification and/or experience
Knowledge and experience in the production, quality or maintenance field with a focus on operations
Knowledge and experience with data cleansing and migration processes and implementation
Knowledge and experience in project implementation
Extensive experience in using data within the maintenance, production, or quality data domains
Prior exposure to data initiatives
Average understanding of relational data models, databases, and data warehousing
Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements
Strong statistical abilities, attention to detail and ability to learn new concepts quickly
Strong Excel spreadsheet skills required
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and understanding of data cleansing and migration processes and how to influence these across end-to-end program delivery
A structured approach to solving complex problems
Definition of the usage of fields, map legacy system data to the system, define data conversion strategies (automated and manual), and coordinate data clean-up and conversion activities
Assisting in development of functional requirements, establishment of master data, definition of conversion requirements, development, and execution of test scripts
Key Responsibilities
Coordination and leadership for regional and site-based SMEs in the production, quality, or maintenance domain
Implementation of the Data Governance and Analytics Strategy in the production, quality, or maintenance domain
Contribution to, and approval of global master data design specifications for data in the production, quality or maintenance domain, including the identification of supporting standards
Participation in process design activities contributing expertise in data standards, design and reporting/analytics requirements
Determination of data migration inclusion rules identifying the data which will be migrated to the target state solutions and which data will be archived or discarded
Facilitation of data cleansing, data profiling and transformation activities working with vendor partners and project team
Supporting the development of test data required to support every phase of system delivery
Implementing Data Excellence Data Management frameworks to ensure persistent data quality
Supporting definition of data quality requirements (what is necessary for the business needs)
Validating outputs of data initiatives in the production, quality or maintenance domain (e.g. sign-off on data cleansing results and master data design specifications)
Highlighting key risks and issues related to data and data processes within the production, quality and maintenance domain
Assisting in establishing timelines, project plans and detailed work plans for the production, quality and maintenance data domain team
Supporting the preparation of weekly, monthly and quarterly progress reports escalating issues and risks as required
Coordinating and managing interfaces between SAP processes and data teams among the various sites which form part of the project
Ensuring integrity of outputs of production, quality or maintenance data cleansing across multiple sites globally, to specified quality standards
Effectively managing the migration of all relevant production, quality or maintenance data across multiple sites globally
Working closely with data leads from other domains to ensure integration across teams
Working closely with production, quality and maintenance global process owners to ensure successful data management implementation activities
