Data Engineer

Seeking a Data Engineer for a 6 month contract .
Hybrid Experience Required:  Professional Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data modelling and related fields.
- AWS Certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty certification is a plus.
- Project Management: Experience in managing data-related projects and working in an Agile environment.
- Industry Experience: Experience within industries such as mining, engineering, finance, health and safety, where data modelling plays a crucial role.
Skills Requirements:  Programming Languages: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, DBT, Java, or Scala.
- Data Governance and Quality : Understanding of data governance principles, data quality management, and data stewardship.
- Cloud Computing: Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including Redshift, S3, EC2, Lambda, Glue, CloudFormation and IAM.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify data-related issues and propose effective solutions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
