Key Responsibilities Lead a team of nine resources responsible for managing creditors; Identify inefficiencies, risks, and control deficiencies in the Accounts Payable process; Influence related processes indirectly, including Procurement, Stock, Assets, and IFRS 16; Collaborate on various projects, such as system enhancements, RPA initiatives, cross-financial projects, and Operations; Manage stakeholders, including business and external stakeholders; Analyse supplier and spend trends, ensuring compliance with SLAs and business policies; Develop and modify workflows, processes, and policies, and upskill resources to mitigate risks and meet business requirements; Facilitate internal and external audits; Implement, monitor, and control internal controls and best practices, aligning processes with company goals; Strategically plan to meet reporting deadlines with the highest accuracy and efficiency; Manage a creditors book encompassing various types of suppliers (Contractors, Consultants, International service providers, Stock, Rentals and IFRS 16 leases, Security, etc.); Review all creditors reconciliations and provide guidance on correcting reconciling items; Actively manage aging buckets; Review payment reconciliations, payment batches, and cash flow planning to ensure accurate cash outflow projection and payments; Address escalated supplier queries; Provide information and reports to senior management; Prepare monthly statutory computations and submissions; Reconcile trial balance and general ledger and investigate and resolve reconciling items; Conduct detailed reviews of accruals, provisions, open purchase orders, and un-invoiced receipts; Perform monthly cost analysis on management packs to minimise variations and provide detailed reasoning where applicable; Conduct cost budgeting and cash budgeting tasks. Qualification and Experience: Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; Experience in a Managerial position; Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Proficient in MS Office and accounting software.
