Credit Risk Analyst

You will be responsible for assessing and managing credit risk throughout the lifecycle of unsecured loans, from origination to collections and provisions. This includes monitoring portfolio performance, creating dashboards, producing reports on portfolio health, and conducting in-depth analysis to support data-driven credit strategy decisions.Responsibilities:Support the development and implementation of credit strategies for unsecured loans Conduct credit risk analysis throughout the loan lifecycle Monitor credit exposures, collections, and provisioning Assess the effectiveness of credit strategies Run impairment models and prepare provisioning reports Enhance reporting processes to identify trends and improve portfolio insights Automate dashboards and streamline data extraction/transformation Investigate data anomalies to ensure accuracy and reliability Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insightsQualifications and Skills:BCom Honours in Economics, Finance, or related field Strong analytical skills for problem-solving and clear communication of findings Proficiency in coding (SAS, SQL, Python, or similar) for data extraction and transformation Experience in dashboard building (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and report creation Familiarity with scorecard development and credit risk model building Strong presentation skills (PowerPoint) and experience presenting findings Minimum of 3 years of experience in a credit risk environment, covering various aspects of the credit lifecycle (customer management, collections, provisioning)
