CREDIT REPORTING ANALYST - UMHLANGA Finance/Accounting Umhlanga, Durban - KwaZulu Natal Credit Reporting Analyst Our client is looking for a Credit Reporting Analyst to join their team Key Purpose To develop, manage and monitor relevant reporting models, to provide advanced analytical support, to critically analyze and advise the department on data driven insights and trends, and create and maintain accurate data, dashboards, and management reports. Key Outcomes Prepare and circulate all daily reports to relevant stakeholders Manage system/technical issues by logging service desk tickets with IT Track all system/policy/operational changes made Compile Month End reports and distribute in a timely manner Ensuring KPIs are accurately recorded End to end system testing Ad-hoc projects Data Analytics to support business needs Ad-hoc analytics Monthly analysis on key Credit Risk areas Use SQL to extract and analyze data to make data-driven, actionable recommendations about how to improve policies and processes Work closely with the Data Science team to price and implement Machine Learning or AI models that optimizes portfolio outcomes Automation of reports and processes Data development and maintenance Assist and advise on creating and maintaining data in the optimal manner Minimum Requirements: Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business Science or similar field Preferred - Honours degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business Science or similar field Proficiency in SQL Advanced Excel Experience 2-5 years experience in Data Analytics, Modelling and Reporting Credit Underwriting would be an advantage Preferred Industry Financial / Credit risk analytics Skills Technical (at least some of the below skills will be necessary) SQL coding Advanced Excel Denodo (advantageous) Ability to work with complex and large amounts of data Microsoft 365 Should you be interested in applying for this position, and you meet the minimum requirements, then Glenda invites you to APPLY below. https://affirmativeportfolios.co.za/ Note :Correspondence will be limited to short-listed candidates.
