Credit Control Supervisor (Germiston)

Qualifications and Experience: Matric Relevant Tertiary qualification will be advantageous Previous management experience of a small team essential Sound Credit Control experience minimum 5 years Be willing to travel to customer sites Code 8 drivers license and own transport Computer literate good understanding of a fully integrated ERP system Responsibilities and duties: The individual in this position is responsible for developing and maintaining standard policies and procedures, participating as a member of a project team, promptly notifying their direct manager of significant risks, effectively controlling the legal book, training at least small team of credit controllers, and providing daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required. They also play a key role in internal and external audits, implement a process to ensure the accuracy and regular updating of master data, and ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and legislation. Additionally, they assist with credit limit and journal reviews and approvals. In terms of staff management, their duties involve ensuring the team's productivity and output quality, implementing a performance management system, conducting regular performance assessments, mentoring and coaching the team, and taking appropriate action to address poor performance, attendance, and time management.
