Crane / Lifting Equipment Millwright

Duties:Focused to improve production and product quality and to eliminate breakdowns.When a breakdown occurs, they will be the first line of defense and must ensure that downtime is kept to a minimum.Attend to breakdowns and perform inspections on a 24 hrs basis to ensure maximum plant availability and efficiency.Testing and inspecting equipment, ensuring safe operation.Electrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs of equipment.Adhere to SHEQ systems and procedures.Requirements:Trade tested Millwright and minimum N3 or Matric with Maths & Science,Have a good mechanical, electrical/electronic and instrument knowledge,Be computer literate,Have five years post apprentice work experience as a millwright,Be physically fit and not afraid of confined spaces and heights,Be willing to work overtime as requested,Must be willing to do standby,Have extensive knowledge of electrical circuits,LMI certification or studying towards its completion required.
