We provide hospital-level cleaning services, no matter the environment – a heritage that translates into a service ethos and cleaning standards of the very highest quality Duties & Responsibilities Supervising all aspects of Cleaning.Organising relief staff when required.Liaise with Client and build good relationships.Industrial relations, disciplinary procedures as necessary, i.e. issuing of warnings.Attend to staff welfare requirements.Quality control through regular inspections (scheduled and non-scheduled). Ensuring cleaning standards are of a high regard at all times.Reporting all accidents/injuries to Super Clean Head Office immediately.Ensuring all staff have an induction before commencing work and assist with training of new staff.Check all staff have and wear the correct Personal Protective Equipment.Ensure safe work practices are enforced.Ensure staff are neat and tidy and at all times in the correct uniform.Ensure correct time keeping (arrival, departure and breaks).Contact office for staff leave days available before completing a leave form.Ensure no staff commences leave without a signed leave form. Leave forms to be sent to office once a week with timesheets.Staff movements to be completed for all staff changing from a cleaner to a gardener and vice versa. Complete and check all timesheets each week – casual and permanent. To be sent to office every Wednesday.Replacement casuals to be on a separate timesheets and sent to office weekly. Include name of employee being replaced.Sick notes to be attached to weekly timesheets.All administrative paperwork – timesheets, leave forms, new contracts, warning forms, overtime sheets, sick notes to be sent to office weekly.Photostat copies of all warning forms; leave forms etc to be kept on fileHandle all wage queries within 24hrs.Follow up on customer complaints (includes counseling and disciplining)Ensure all staff have signed contracts (first 3 mths casual contract thereafter permanent contract)Report any queries or complaints to Divisional manager immediately. Ensure adequate equipment and consumables are at hand at all times.Accept and sign for all equipment and consumables and keep records on file.Report any faulty equipment to the office within 24 hours.Ensure all equipment is clean and stored away tidily. Skills and Competencies Contactable at all times via cellular phoneUnderstand cleaning principles and knowledge of company policies and procedures.Good understanding of scheduling of staffing and assign cleaning tasks productively to each position to achieve an output standard according to site specific SLA’s.Strong people skills and knowledge or Industrial relations.Strong on client relationships and strong communication skills. Qualifications Minimum Matric.Relevant operations and people management experience.
