Test Division Summary
Job Purpose

•To facilitates and develops a close relationship between Standard Bank of South Africa (SBSA), the estate agent and/or developers to ensure that all potential buyers are referred to SBSA.
• To proactively sell SBSA home loan products to new property buyers through dedicated estate agents/developers to maximise our market share and grow the Banks home loan book.
• To provide training and support to the estate agents/developers with a view to achieve our desired market share.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

Grow Transactional-led acquisition
• Achieves allocated home-loans targets.
• Identifies opportunities to promote other Standard Bank of South Africa (SBSA) products (cross-sell).
• Ensures that all leads are logged correctly in the presence of the customer and ensures cross selling opportunities are identified.
• Identifies and actions opportunities for cross- and up-sell.
• Ensures accurate capture, updates or amendments of customer information and history notes.
Customer Experience
• Complete all compliance training within laid down timelines.
• Keeps clients, agents/developers informed of bond progress.

• Ensures upfront approval of new developments for e.g. exposure for sectional title development, attorney approval, etc.
• Facilitates the increase in sectional title exposure in existing developments.
• Provides negotiation and arbitration on bonds when required.
• Resolves queries regarding commission pay-outs to estate agencies/developers that are outside of SLA.
• Ensures that all new service requests (queries and complaints) are logged correctly, as either a “first contact resolution” or “non first contact resolution” as appropriate.
• Ensures that service requests in personal work list are actioned within agreed timelines.
Stakeholder Management
• Facilitates and develops sound relationships with the estate agent and developer through an effective calling programme.
• Acts as primary point of contact for potential home buyers and provides the best advice to conclude the sale.
• Negotiates with pricing for competitive interest rates for the customer.
• Facilitates and develops sound relationships with the internal channels such as Provincial Home Loan Officer (PHLO), credit, assessors and processing department.
Efficiency and effectiveness
• Tracks Home Loans applications submitted to ensure accepted turnaround times are met.
• Controls and manages unnecessary rate request.
• Facilitates an effective and efficient end to end home loan application process (from application submission to registration).
• Ensures that applications are accurately completed with relevant documents and submitted timeously to Provincial Home Loans Office (PHLO) according to Service Level Agreements (SLA).
Marketing and sponsorship
• Attends development launches/show houses to represent Standard Bank of South Africa.
• Distributes promotional material between all estate agents and developers according to market share contribution.
• Allocates and controls marketing and sponsorship funds among all estate agents and developers according to market share contribution
Preferred Qualification and Experience

Matric
Must complete one of the qualification listed on the FSB list within allocated time,NQF level 5 or above
Real Estate Related Training
Analysis of Financial Statements
Indepth Knowlege of homeloans processing and products
Knowledge of the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act
Understanding and support of the banks muti channel envirinment
2-3 years experience in the field of home loans related products
Must have relevant Intermediary experience in respect of the FAIS product subcategories applicable to this role
