Qualifications and Experience required: 1-year experience as a Compliance Administrator within the Insurance Industry NQF Level 5 -Higher Certificate (in Compliance, Risk Management, or Insurance Related Studies) RE 5 (Preference) Key areas of responsibility Compliance Administration Conduct Onboarding/Annual Review and Verification across all Distribution Channels Update, manage and monitor the Competency Register for Internal Representatives, Employees (Intermediary Services) and Juristic Representatives. Monitor the following processes and regulatory requirements: Advice and Intermediary process across all Distribution Channels Conflict of Interest process across all Distribution Channels Honesty, Integrity and Good Standing across all Distribution Channels Advertising and Marketing Material Complaints Registers Supervision of Internal Representatives, Employees (Intermediary Services) and Juristic Representatives POPI compliance FICA and AML General Administration Perform general Compliance Administration that may be required from time to time Update Key Individuals, Group Compliance and L&D on any Relevant Profile Changes Maintain compliance filing and record keeping accurately and regularly Assist the Compliance Officer with updating all Compliance Documentation and Policies Reporting Assist with the preparation of Monthly and Quarterly RML Exco Reports and Distribution Channel Reports based on functions monitored Compliance Ad hoc Functions (Under Supervision) Provide business with compliance consulting/advisory services under supervision Review and keep up to date with regulatory changes Attend to FAIS enquiries Provide compliance and risk related training across all Distribution Channels Knowledge, Skills and Competencies required: Knowledge of business policies, processes and procedures, legal compliance Good working knowledge of all MS Office packages Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively in spoken and written English
