BNRY is a creative technology company looking for an experienced and enthusiastic community manager to join the marketing division of our team. Together, we’ll devise and execute holistic, clever digital marketing campaigns and build communities online. We are always grounded by commercial, creative, brand and marketing strategy that directly and measurably serves our clients’ business targets.
Responsibilities
Assist with creation, conception and presentation of social media strategy and integrated marketing campaigns.
Interpret the direction of strategy/planning and creative leads.
Communicate and coordinate client service, production and strategy/planning teams ensuring that community strategy supports overall brand goals and objectives.
Use analytics and/or social listening tools to generate insights to create actionable, client-facing reports that lead to optimisation.
Create and maintain content plans, including writing posts, and publish relevant content to managed social pages.
Review user-generated comments and posts in a quick and timely manner.
Respond to comments, when appropriate, to build positive communities and add value to users’ experience of our brands.
Enforce social media guidelines defined by our brands.
Escalate user-generated content, where appropriate, to internal and client stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS
Required skills and attributes
Relevant tertiary qualification in communications, marketing, advertising, public relations, media studies, business and/or related fields.
Three+ years’ managing digital platforms and social communities for brands.
Excellent communication skills and creative writing skills.
A compelling portfolio that demonstrates expertise in engaging and activating community groups.
The ability to work with client and internal teams on developing on-brand messaging that best represents brand voice online and encourages user-generated content creation and sharing.
Experience establishing metrics, gleaning community insights and reporting/recommending strategies that achieve marketing goals.
Understanding of what’s possible on various technology platforms, with the ability to integrate the needs of and guide clients, creative team and developers.
Experience using appropriate software, particularly PowerPoint for presentations.
Interest in industry and emerging marketing, digital and social trends, and application of ongoing learning to deliver fresh ideas that are relevant to exceeding clients’ business objectives.
The ability to collaborate as well to work independently, learn from constructive criticism, and contribute to ideation.
Punctuality, strict adherence to deadlines, ability to work with several clients at any time, self-manage time and workload.
Excitement about finding smarter ways to do things.
Curiosity, attention to detail, critical thinking.
