Job Title: Commercial Underwriter
RPO Recruitments Client is seeking candidates to join their team in Johannesburg, Gauteng.
As a Commercial Underwriter, your responsibilities will include:

Assisting with underwriting and claims processes
Managing renewals, pre-renewal discussions, and negotiations
Instructing insurers to renew policies
Preparing and binding presentations (PowerPoint)
Reviewing loss ratios and amending motor values to current standards
Preparing pre-renewal and renewal comparisons for client presentations (Excel)
Capturing amendments and renewals on the Ski Host System

Requirements:

Matric certificate
Minimum 5 years relevant experience within the insurance brokerage industry
Experience obtained specifically within an insurance brokerage
Knowledge of exchange control (advantageous)
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Sound product knowledge; marine knowledge is an advantage
