Cloud Engineer - Seidor Networks

As a Cloud Engineer at SEIDOR Networks, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and supporting cloud-based infrastructure and services for both internal operations and a diverse customer base.
This role requires strong hands-on experience with public and hybrid cloud environments (Microsoft Azure, AWS, Huawei Cloud, Microsoft 365, etc.)
and a solid understanding of networking, virtualization, security, and automation within the MSP landscape.
Key Responsibilities : Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure, AWS, Huawei Cloud and Microsoft 365.Implement cloud-based networking, security, and backup solutionsProvide Tier 2 / 3 technical support for cloud-related incidents and requestsMigrate on-premises workloads and services to cloud platformsWork closely with the service desk, project teams, and account managers to deliver cloud services aligned with customer needsMonitor system performance, availability, and security of cloud environmentsMaintain and update infrastructure-as-code scripts (e.g., using PowerShell)Ensure proper documentation of cloud environments, configurations, and changesParticipate in capacity planning, disaster recovery design, and compliance initiativesStay up to date with industry trends and new cloud services to provide recommendations and improvementsRole Requirements : Qualifications Matric (Grade 12) is essentialAWS Solution Architect Associate Microsoft 365 CertifiedRelevant IT certifications highly preferredAzure Solutions Architect – Professional AWS Solution Architect – ProfessionalDegree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred)Technical Experience 3-5 years of experience in a cloud engineering and infrastructure support role, preferably within an MSP or IT service providerStrong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Azure AD.
AWS and Huawei Cloud is beneficialExperience with Virtualization technologies (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware)Familiarity with networking concepts (DNS, VPNs, routing, firewalls, etc.
)Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Terraform, Bash, Cloud CLI)Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions in cloud environments (e.g., Veeam, Azure Site Recovery, AWS)Experience with cloud monitoring tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, CloudWatch, CloudTrail etc.
