Provide support to senior staff of Alexander Forbes Investments' Delegated solutions team for their client reportbacks, as well as to senior and principal consultants on Advisory clients.
Contribute to the profitability of Alexander Forbes by providing a professional, quality service to clients; client satisfaction, retention and expansion; keeping abreast of developments in industry; ensuring at all times that Alexander Forbes' standards are maintained.Overview:Client RelationshipsAssist senior team members with reportbacks to delegated clients and/or advice clients.Assist senior team in keeping clients updated with developments in investments.Assist senior team in ensuring that clients understand the nature of the portfolios in which they are invested.Develop relationships with all clients.Follow up queries and resolve problems of clients.Regular communication and correspondence with clients, both formal and informal.Ensure timely responses to client queries and requests.Maintain existing client base.Liaise with investment team members when necessary.Keep abreast of all investment developments/self-development.Deliver service and commitments to the client.Remain client-focused at all times.Support of Senior Staff and Their Client WorkMaintain, service, and assist on a senior team member's portfolio of clients to add value and achieve client satisfaction.Support the deliverables associated with presentation reportbacks relating to economics and investment performance.Act as the interface between the client and other internal departments.Ensure that all FAIS requirements are met when advising and providing intermediary services to clients.Getting Input from Internal ContactsObtain internal input to ensure ultimate client service and attainment of client objectives.Liaise and communicate with internal departments on issues pertaining to management of the client portfolio.Ensure tasks are completed to satisfaction.Monitor and follow up on instructions and information requests.Self-DevelopmentDisplay self-awareness and insight into areas of strength and development.TCFFulfill duties in such a manner that the relevant TCF outcomes are delivered.Quickly own up to any mistakes or oversights that may have negative TCF consequences.RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Financial Services, or Investments.RE5 certification.1 - 3 years of working knowledge of investments within the financial services industry.The company's approved employment equity plans and targets will be considered as part of the recruitment process.
