Our client, a well-established Information Technology company, based in Umhlanga, is looking to fill the position of Client Acquisition Lead. Purpose: The primary objective of this role is to achieve revenue growth and sales targets for our managed services, cloud solutions and accompanying services, through informed strategies. Responsibilities: Develop strategy through the situational analysis on the industry, category, economy and competitors to identify trends, growth opportunities and business and regulatory risks and recommend actions. Accountable for achieving revenue and gross profit targets by selling services and solutions to new clients. Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas. Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g., sales results and annual forecasts). Identify, win, and manage sales opportunities to ensure a robust pipeline is developed with new and existing clients. Effectively manage plans to capture new clients through marketing and messaging techniques. Regularly maintain plans for existing clients in terms of upselling additional products and services. Develop and promote strategies to sell solutions to new and or existing clients utilising problem/needs-based selling techniques. Set and monitor metrics for various marketing initiatives. Allocate advertising budget effectively across platforms to achieve optimal results. Contribute to Geek Managed Services leadership and innovation initiatives, through market trend analysis. Works in collaboration across all Geek Managed Services functions to contribute to the development of new service lines and bundled Geek solutions. Facilitates the roll-out of Geek Managed Services service methodologies and frameworks. Analysing, differentiating and converting clients from leads to sales. Focusing on building long-term relationships with new and existing clients. Taking initiatives and prioritizing tasks effectively to deliver business results. Ensure beneficial and sustainable partner and vendor relationships. Negotiate new contracts and close agreements to maximize profits. Demonstrate an ability to communicate professionally, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level. Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail. Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts and customer stakeholders. Develop a deep understanding of the customer, including goals, organization structure, decision-making processes, and pain-points. Create outbound prospecting communications to build and manage lead development pipeline inclusive of cold-calling, networking, e-mail/e-marketing, and utilizing Internet information sources. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies. 8-10 years’ experience in a leadership, management, or decision-making role 8-10 years’ experience in Business Development and Sales of IT Managed Services Experience in developing and selling Cloud solutions Track record of acquiring new clients in SMB/SME sector Thorough knowledge of strategic planning principles and marketing best practices Previous experience with developing and selling Microsoft cloud solutions Good understanding of market research techniques, data analysis and statistics methods Thorough knowledge of strategic planning principles and marketing best practices Proficient in MS Office 365 (and/or other cloud-based collaboration tools) and marketing software (e.g., CRM) Proficient in social media and web analytics Strong organizational, time-management and choreography abilities Creativity and commercial awareness Proven track record in business development within strategic accounts Successful sales experience within a complex and lengthy decision-making process/sales cycle Experience in identifying, winning, and managing strategic client business Experience in organising and managing the end to end sales process for medium, large and complex opportunities Excellent knowledge and understanding of the IT services industry Understanding of commercial and contractual complexities of IT outsourcing Previous experience in a professional services engagement framework Demonstrates understanding of quality service offerings including quality assurance, quality engineering and business solutions Proven record of achieving individually assigned sales quotas and targets Experience in achieving new and/or account acquisition targets Foundational technical experience in IT services and solutions – Networking, Hardware, SaaS solutions, Cloud Solutions Enter your email and be the first to receive all the jobs that match your search criteria By clicking above you agree to the PNet Terms of Use .Read our full Data Protection Policy here .You may unsubscribe at any time from PNet emails and services.
