Civil Engineering Technologist

Our client, a large consulting company with offices across South Africa, is looking for a Civil Engineering Technologist to join their growing team in Cape Town!
What you will need: Higher Diploma / B Tech in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 4 years relevant experience.
Working knowledge and experience using AutoCAD and Civil 3D design software, including the following: Generate surface profiles Import / Export DTM files Generate road and pipe profiles Strong knowledge of Windows operating system and Microsoft Office.
Your responsibilities will include: Assist in the design of civil infrastructure (Roads, water, sewerage, stormwater and related infrastructure) under supervision of senior professionals.
Compilation of plans for civil infrastructure.
Develop Bills of Quantities and cost estimates for civil infrastructure.
Prepare reports and document project activities.
Inspect project sites and evaluate contracts work.
