Chief Risk Officer

We are partnering with an exciting global brand that is rapidly growing in Namibia, and we are currently looking for a Chief Risk Officer (CRO) to join their leadership team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced risk professional with a strong background in credit risk management to play a key role in shaping the risk strategy of a developing business within an internationally recognized brand.Key Responsibilities:Lead the development and implementation of the companys risk management framework, policies, and procedures.Provide expert guidance on risk mitigation strategies, ensuring the organizations objectives and risk tolerance align.Work closely with senior management to provide strategic risk insights and support decision-making.Ensure all risk management processes are integrated into business operations and align with the companys growth ambitions.Qualifications & Experience Required:A minimum of 7 years of experience in risk management, with a significant focus on credit risk.Proven expertise in risk analysis, strategic risk management, and the ability to oversee complex risk landscapes.Relevant academic qualifications in risk management, finance, economics, or a related field (e.g., CFA, FRM, or equivalent).A strong understanding of financial products, credit evaluation, and the broader market risks.Experience in a senior risk management role, ideally within a global or rapidly growing business.Knowledge of local regulatory environments in Namibia, with experience working in emerging markets being a strong advantage.How to Apply:If you meet the above requirements, please send your resume DIRECTLY
