CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER – BASED: EAST LONDON / PORT ELIZABETH or CAPE TOWNOur Client is looking to employ a highly skilled Chief Financial Officer.
The role is critical to ensuring the effective management of the Company's financial operations and contributing to the continued growth and success of the Company.
The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the business, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CA(SA), or similar professional qualification preferred.Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Financial Management role, ideally within a manufacturing or retail environment.Proven track record of managing financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance.Strong understanding of financial regulations and tax laws in South Africa.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.Key Responsibilities:Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions and strategic planning.Monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators to ensure the financial health of the company.Develop and manage the annual budget, working closely with department heads to ensure alignment with company goals.Provide regular updates on financial performance versus budget and forecast, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions.Oversee cash flow management to ensure sufficient liquidity for day-to-day operations.Implement effective strategies for managing receivables and payables, ensuring timely payments.Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and industry standards.Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process.Work closely with the management team to develop and implement long-term financial strategies.Provide financial modeling and analysis to support business expansion, investment, and cost management decisions.Work cross-functionally with other departments within the organization.Salary: Highly negotiableApplication Process: Please apply online or e-mail your CV, qualifications, and recent head & shoulder photo to ******.
