Cashbook Controller

Key Responsibilities:Process and reconcile all credit card accounts (22 credit cards).Debit order management of the group's various obligations.Accurately perform bank reconciliations on a monthly basis.Prepare for payment and process the weekly COD supplier invoices.Check and capture all supplier invoices with attention to detail and consistency.Use the Property Management System to assist in the completion of the bank reconciliations.Assist with external and internal auditors and other administrative inquiries.Create and maintain relationships with business stakeholders such as suppliers and operational team members.Coordinate capital expenditure and check that all CAPEX request forms are filled in correctly and received at Head Office for signed approval.Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned by management.Participate actively in and support the company's conservation message and purpose.Skills and Experience:Tertiary Financial Qualification.3 years of experience in a similar role (preferably from a hospitality background).No criminal record.A good understanding of general accounting principles.Proficient in processing cashbooks using Pastel Partner.High degree of computer literacy, enabling a working knowledge of Property Management systems.Accurate work ethic with strong attention to detail.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Experience with internet banking platforms (FNB).Strong communication skills (written & verbal) in English.Ability to deal with pressure and meet tight reporting deadlines.Sound knowledge of finance processes and procedures.Strong interpersonal skills.Passion for the industry and conservation.Citizenship or valid work permit.
