Duties & Responsibilities
Provide effective leadership to the Student Support Centre team
Introduce effective strategies for the recruitment of students.
Ensure high quality arrangements exist for teaching, learning and student support and that the campus delivers high quality education and training.
Strive to make the campus an inclusive, student-centred organisation and an effective learning environment for all campus users.
Lead and contribute to the development, implementation and monitoring of campus plans and policies.
Ensure the effective review of policies and procedures which involve the company, staff and students.
Prepare annual estimates of income and expenditure for consideration and approval by the company and manage the budget and resources within the estimates approved by the company.
Co-operate with colleagues and the executive team to ensure that the campus offers the highest quality service to its clients and foster a culture of excellence and innovation.
Seek out development opportunities for the company, including business and community partnerships.
Work closely with local high schools to develop the most effective partnerships in order to maximise registrations from such schools.
Ensure that the company is effectively represented and promoted in local, regional and national forums and that information from external sources is disseminated widely throughout the centre.
Ensure that the National Health and Safety Policy is implemented at the regional office.
Develop and maintain quality standards appropriate to the position.
Develop and maintain professional standards and expertise by undertaking professional development.
5 years' plus experience in Sales / Business Development in the Education sector
5 years' plus management experience
Lecturing experience at Degree level would be beneficial
