Business Strategy Analyst

takealot.com, a leading South African online retailer, is looking for a highly talented Business Strategy Analyst to join our team in Cape Town.

This role reports to the Head of Business Development.
Your responsibilities will include:

Providing research and analysis to develop robust business cases for new growth opportunities.
Assembling and analyzing data to determine market sizes for new concepts.
Researching implementation strategies locally and internationally.
Utilizing online tools and engaging with information sources.
Building Excel models to quantify opportunity sizes.
Applying creative problem-solving to develop solutions.
Developing high-level functional requirements for implementing opportunities.
Collaborating with specialists across the business to understand practical implementation needs.
Creating implementation plans and budgets for new projects.
Managing the implementation of selected opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; postgraduate degree preferred.
At least 3 years of experience in an analytical role (e.g., e-commerce, consulting, engineering).
Excellent academic results.
Proficiency in Excel.
