Job title : Business Judgemental Credit Manager (Bloemfontein)Job Location : Free State, Bloemfontein Deadline : May 22, 2025Jobs by LocationJobs by IndustriesJob DescriptionEvaluate, manage, and approve complex credit risk within the area of responsibility by providing advice, recommendations, and support to internal stakeholders through the implementation of group credit mandates, risk frameworks, and methodologies.Provide coaching and mentoring to relevant internal (Business Judgemental Credit Manager I) and external teams (Relationship Managers).Recommend credit decisions within the mandate by using the app.Assess and approve credit in accordance with the approved mandate to minimize credit risk to the business.Manage the credit approval process.Develop, encourage, and nurture collaborative relationships within the business across Product Houses and/or across the FRG.
Approve or recommend counterparty exposure across multiple products.Manage credit risk at origination on an ongoing basis.Drive customer service delivery goals in line with predefined standards and operational objectives.Ensure credit approvals are conducted within governance (legislative and audit), processes, and mandate requirements.Ensure the average approval turnaround time meets targets to retain clients.Analyze credit data to estimate the degree of risk in extending credit or lending money by accessing credit applications.Assess and evaluate credit risk through quantitative and qualitative analysis.Monitor existing exposures and recommend credit decisions in accordance with the bank's policies.Ideal Candidate Qualifications:Have completed your CA or B Degree equivalent with enterprise segment experience (preferably 2-5 years minimum).Candidate Attributes:Support the Account Executive by managing and administering a portfolio of clients, including application approval and ongoing quality risk management of the clients' credit facilities.Deliver exceptional service by educating clients, offering appropriate solutions, and maintaining relationships.Advise on and support the effective resolution of customer queries to ensure satisfaction and retention.Continuously monitor process turnaround times and quality standards, resolving issues promptly to enhance client service delivery.Access to:Opportunities to network and collaborate.A challenging working environment.Opportunities to innovate.We can be a match if you are:Adaptable and curious.Sales-driven.Thriving in a collaborative environment.Client-centric.
