Duties & Responsibilities Identify and research new business opportunities. Contribute to the growth of multiple products fee income through new client activities (sales and related activities) as well as robust cross selling initiatives. Provide market intelligence and feedback to the business and investment team on market needs and trends within the allocated investment area/s Continuously strive to enhance and improve the client engagement and activity tracking processes within the target market. Drive and take responsibility for retention and efficient servicing of allocated clients. Develop and propose appropriate and, where possible, innovative investment solutions, strategies and mandates to clients and target market. Understand and assist in the take-on of new investment mandates, restructured mandates & the disinvestment process. Influence the house’s overall research agenda by engaging closely, on a continuous basis with the entire investment team, specifically highlighting areas of concern or areas of potential opportunity that require further investigation as well as prioritising topics requiring research/analysis. Contribute to meeting preparations and presentations to clients (report backs, pitches and due diligences). Show full commitment to the business philosophy in the management of client relationships and business development. Develop a consistent approach to giving feedback to the business and investment team with regards to target market views/perception of the investment philosophy and process and its success or lack thereof. Contribute and ensure compliance to business governance, relevant legislation and risk mitigation strategies. Ensure effective financial management, control and corporate governance. Take joint accountability for the management of business related risks.
