We are looking for a senior business development and sales executive, to work closely with our merchants (retailers) as well as advertiser clients (brands) to craft and sell offerings that use PriceCheck’s unique capabilities to address our client’s needs and strategies.
The ideal candidate has several years' experience at a senior level in high-value-add marketing campaigns (buy- or sell-side) that take advantage of data and digital channels to reach consumers. You should be a strong sales person, able to listen to a client’s needs and strategy and present powerful campaign concepts in response. You need strong interpersonal skills, an affinity for numbers and data, strong presentation skills and the ability to work with the rest of the team to deliver campaigns.
Identify new business opportunities, and formulate innovative strategies to maximise profits from both new and existing clients
Own relationships with key brand (advertisers), retailers and marketing agencies, to understand their needs and to be responsive to those needs; foster effective relationships through regular feedback and communication
Package innovative campaigns that pull together data, consumer insight and marketing reach, to solve advertiser’s needs at a level beyond just banner ads
Manage a pipeline of advertiser clients, to maximise short-term and long-term revenue for PriceCheck from our large audience
Manage a small team of junior sales execs for advertiser sales
Maintain project oversight on campaigns that cut across departments (e.g., tech, data, sales, finance) within the PriceCheck team
Play a robust role in the PriceCheck leadership team, as we innovate on our consumer and client value proposition in a rapidly changing industry
Five+ years of sophisticated advertising campaign experience, ideally on sell-side, but alternatively on buy-side
Two+ years of people management experience
Proven sales experience and capability
Excellent written and verbal communication
Entrepreneurial appetite and enthusiasm to contribute as a key member of a small, fast-moving leadership team
Familiarity with key concepts and tools in online advertising (e.g., Google Analytics, remarketing, audience segmentation and cookies, etc.) Beneficial
Digital performance marketing experience (e.g., DoubleClick or similar)
Sell-side experience in a high traffic environment (e.g., online news, classifieds, etc)
Customer insight and segmentation experience, e.g., consumer surveys, machine-learning segmentation
