The BC will be an important advisor to DC management team and responsible for the Assistant Controller and inventory team. The DC Business Controller reports to Regional Business Controller EMEA and is part of a regional team supporting EMEA.Perform, together with the Regional Centre of Excellence, all financial reporting for the DC to the Epiroc Group.Ensure Distribution Centre is compliant with The Epiroc Way, policies and procedures.Duties and Responsibilities:Assist Regional Supply Chain Manager and management team on all aspects in finance area.Ensure compliance with The Epiroc Way and global Supply Chain financial guidelines and policies.Support in the application process for investments and follow-up.Maintain and develop procedures for calculation and execution of cost allocation and distribution, MO-rates, LCF, etc.Maintain and develop monthly closing and reporting procedures in collaboration with RCoE.Participate in projects to reduce and analyse cost saving initiatives.Give financial training and support to employees at all levels.Ensure that appropriate risk awareness and internal control procedures are in place and that external and internal auditors receive necessary support.Other duties assigned by the Global Supply Chain Controller, Regional Supply Chain Manager and/or RDC Operations Manager.Ensure the tax compliance with accounting team and group tax.Review ZSO payroll variances monthly together with HR Business Partner.PPM, Sales, SalesGP, IS and BS, SPECOPER monthly reporting.Transfer Price calculation monthly.Compile and review sustain reporting data quarterly.General Ledger reconciliation review monthly.Inventory reconciliation monthly during closing.Compile and coordinate the collection of data for Planning process yearly.Schedule and run the procurement committee meetings (determine issues with key suppliers etc.).Completion of supplier credit applications.Approval of invoices in M3.Review of AR and AP ageing monthly and co-ordinate meeting with RCoE to deal with aged items.Compile and coordinate Internal audit ICFR testing.Compile and coordinate the CSA - Control Self-Assessment - yearly.Compile and coordinate Operational key control testing yearly.Coordinate Business Risk Assessment process with management team yearly.Review all inventory adjustments monthly.Journal preparation for all journals not compiled by Assistant BC (IFRS16, Negative Stock etc.) or AtR.Review processes in the DC, Order Fulfilment, Inbound replenishment, Transport and Trade Compliance for efficiency improvements.Review Salary journal, prepaid insurance journals etc.Skills, Competence and Experience:Minimum 5-7 years of controlling, finance or accounting.Decision-making, problem-solving and analytical skills - required.Special Knowledge, Certification or Licenses in Finance/Controlling area is an asset.Good knowledge of MS Excel, ERP system, MS BI and MS Office.Good understanding of supply chain processes.Fluent in English and local language communication skills both verbal and written.Education Qualification:University degree (bachelor or higher) majored in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience.Behaviours:High integrity and the courage to stand up for ethical principles.Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with all functions for the good of Epiroc.You are self-driven, can work independently and take initiative.Business and supply chain oriented and able to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels.Ability to look for weaknesses in processes, propose solutions and implement chosen solutions monitoring the outcome.Ability to adapt quickly and demonstrate flexibility.Well organized, result oriented and focused on continuous improvement - Dare to think new!Good presentation skills.Excellent planning and execution capabilities.Ability to work in a team.Ability to work under pressure.Last Date to Apply: 03 December 2024
