Bloemfontein - A leading provider of automated cash management and payment solutions for the retail community and approved service provider to blue-chip companies is urgently looking for a Business Consultant for Free State to be responsible for development of business growth opportunities by actioning the strategic goal of the organization and delivering a premium class service to customers.

In order to be considered the following is required:

Daily activity requirements:

2 x prequalified confirmed appointments with business owners that are available to do business within the next 3 months / open for business (An example of the above would be opening a new store, was previously manual or their current contract has expired or is expiring, and they would be able to sign up within the next 3 months. It is very important that this information is establish and confirmed when booking the meeting with the client)
1 x prequalified confirmed appointment with a business owner that is only available to do business after 3 months / future business (An example of the above would be someone who is currently locked in a device contract with a competitor for more than 3 months, a prospect that is opening a new store but only in the new year, the prospect is a corporate and the deal may take longer than 3 months to convert. It is very important that this information is established when booking the meeting with the client)
From the above 3 meetings – the expectation is that 3 referrals can be secured with additional prospects and 2 x Vault app downloads can be actioned – this can either be linked to ongoing capital campaigns or introducing new prospects to capital
Weekly activity requirements:

The above activity must result in a minimum of 5 quotes per week. Please note that the above is the minimum requirement for 4 out of 5 days weekly to accommodate for admin and office time
Monthly activity requirements:

Minimum 3 new deals per month
Pipeline growth of no less than 20 quotes (Loaded on the online quoting system)
Minimum 1 lunch / breakfast secured with an industry influencer and the Regional Manager
Weekly reports due on Fridays @9am
Responsibilities:

Consult, negotiate and make progress on deals to the point of signing with decision makers / business owners
Source viable opportunities to promote the business to in order to secure required daily quote output and build a solid pipeline of opportunities with business owners / decision makers
Focus on securing meetings (confirmed with the decision makers) where the business is currently in the market for a cash management solution
Focus on securing meetings (confirmed with the decision makers) that is currently in contract with a competitor and should form part of your future dated pipeline
Strive to understand your prospects business and cash management requirements to effectively provide the correct cash management solution and negotiate post objections
Sell end-to-end solution and the benefits thereof
Build up a healthy pipeline of opportunity on the CRM system (core suite)
Bring in new business in line with the monthly / quarterly and annual targets agreed to
Manage and retain relationships with key industry influencers
Grow one’s available opportunities via referral business events / tradeshows
Understand the solution fully in order to best consult with your prospect base and ensure maximum client satisfaction once the product is installed
Assist in transferring the relationship post installation to the Account Manager / Hybrid managing the customer thereafter
Manage prospects expectation post signing to installation
Manage all activity and reporting via core suite and report server to effectively manage and secure your prospect base
Managing and actioning ongoing promotions / campaigns / strategic decisions throughout the prospect base
Keep the prospect base appraised of any changes or new product development /services within the business
ADHOC requests as and when required
