Our Client, a reputable financial institution, is currently recruiting a Business Development Consultant to join their team in the Johannesburg region.
Duties Include: Consistently deliver and exceed on allocated sales targets.
Develop, manage and maintain strong relationships with Financial Advisers, ensuring consistent growth of their panel.
Assist in identifying new potential Financial Advisers and opportunities for business growth.
Provide technical training and ongoing product support to Financial Advisers.
Facilitate the sales process to ensure that Financial Advisers are going through the correct channels.
Participate in proactive sales and marketing initiatives.
Build and sustain profitability in their business.
Keep up to date with competitor product and service offerings and industry developments, making recommendations to management where necessary.
Review New Business Pipeline, follow up and track to ensure conversion.
Conduct regular one-on-one and group presentations.
Exhibit a strong telephone manner: able to make successful cold calls and sell products telephonically.
Provide weekly analysis and reporting on deliverables/achievements.
Attend regional Financial Adviser meetings and deliver on business marketing strategy to Financial Advisors.
2 years experience managing a panel of Financial Advisors is essential.
