Key Responsibilities: Development of Foschini brand strategy & CI implementation Work with the Marketing Manager in developing and executing the brand strategyResponsible for aligning the integrated marketing calendarDevelop, drive and ensure implementation of brand strategyDrive the marketing of the main Foschini strategic leversDrive key partner relationshipsDriving the marketing of Foschini strategic levers Initiating brand building projectsEffectively monitor progress of processes and tasksImplement & enforce CI for customer facing Foschini brandParticipate in the develop of strategy & communication planManage the brand identity consistently through all communication channelsIdentify opportunities for brand co-opsEvents / Events Management and Sponsorships Develop & implement cross-brand campaign opportunities Continue to build on the success of existing brand campaignsIdentify & drive new cross-brand campaign opportunitiesDrive collaboration with brands, Bash, TFG Rewards and other stakeholdersDeliver integrated campaignsMarket & Campaign Analysis Analysis of competitors, promotional landscape and campaign reviewsMonitor the retail landscape & identify opportunitiesResearch of marketing trends, specifically in the digital portfolio, popular culture & relevant eventsCommunication and relationship management Manage client communication activityManage agency/ supplier relationship, briefs & communicationShare brand vision and identity with the team & stakeholdersBudget and planning Responsible for the management of allocated budgetEffectively use allocated funds to ensure maximum exposure for the brandControl the budget through invoice sign off and loading
Qualification & Experience: Tertiary degree or 3-year diploma in Marketing/ Brand Management/ Digital Marketing or similar is essential.2 – 4 years' experienceProficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint Skills: Strong understanding of brand management, consumer behaviour and relevant culture.Strategic thinker, be able to identify opportunities, unpack insights and interpret data to support the brands strategic objections.The ability to keep abreast of content and consumer trends and advancements in technology.Excellent communication skills including written and verbal communication.Have the ability to persuade and influenceSolutions based, innovative and organized with a curious mindProject management: attention to detail and excellent time managementRetail industry intelligence knowledge would be a plusExperience of retail marketing would also be a bonus
