Main Purpose of the Job We are looking for an energetic, passionate and sales-driven individual to fulfill the key Hermanus & Onrus branch manager role. Purpose of the Role:To increase market share, sales, profitability and PGP’s profile in Hermanus & Onrus. Supporting, mentoring and coaching our excellent Agents in Hermanus and ensuring that all our clients receive a consistently high-quality service and that a strong customer-focused service culture is entrenched in the branch.Our preference is that the successful candidate be based in the Hermanus and/or Onrus area. Key Responsibilities • Effectively manage the performance of Agents within the branch;• Enhance our market share in Hermanus;• Ensure efficient processing of all aspects of property sales;• Support and utilise all corporate marketing and public relations activities to ensure optimal visibility in Hermanus;• Encourage maximum use of all referral opportunities, working with colleagues from across the country;• Ensure that the Agents and staff provide optimal service in line with the Pam Golding Properties values and ethos;• Budgets – setting the branch budget, monitoring and ensuring that the branch operates within its budget;• Ensure that all agents and staff are adequately trained to perform their duties and providing support through regular coaching and mentoring;• Fosters the transformation of the workplace;• Identify and recruit quality staff and agents and ensuring appropriate retention through recognition and reward;• Responsible for branch compliance with all current legal requirements. Key Competencies • High level of integrity, credibility and ethics is a non-negotiable;• Strong planning and organising skills with an eye for detail;• Self-motivated, energetic and have the ability to motivate others;• Good marketing and networking skills are essential;• Excellent communicator; • The ability to cope with pressure and setbacks is an important skill in our industry. Education & Experience • Matric;• 3-5 years’ experience in successfully leading a team would be an advantage in this role. Knowledge & Skills Required • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships;• Strong motivational skills and the ability to lead a sales team;• Knowledge and understanding of sales and service strategies;• Knowledge and understanding of local target market in Hermanus will be a definite advantage;• Knowledge and experience of the Real Estate Industry is an advantage.
