Van Schaik Bookstorerequires a strategic thinker, equipped with the essential skills for high-level negotiations, to contribute to promoting the services of the company.

The incumbent, who should at all times keep abreast of the latest technology, will be responsible for:

Successfully expanding the Branch regarding stockholding and management thereof;
Strictly maintaining the company’s and its suppliers return policies
Optimisation and stimulation of sales in the shop
Canvasing schools and TVET Colleges in area for new business
Initiate and maintain contact with lecturing staff of tertiary institutions, potential customers and representative of publishers or their suppliers.
Ordering and receiving of stationery
Processing of new and inter-branch stock
Applying the company’s customer service policy at all levels
Maintain administrative process (customer orders, quotations, pro-formas, enquiries)
Personnel management and development
Excellent customer service
Financial management
Stock display and presentation
Developing and monitoring operational procedures
