SDM is managed by the SA Retail Mass cluster, which focuses on retail products and group schemes within the Sanlam Group.
Key Responsibilities Promote Sanlam Retail Mass products and increase market share by providing sound financial advice and high-quality client service in a branch setting.Create opportunities for client optimization and cross-selling of value-added services.Understand customer needs, financial goals, and means to recommend suitable products.Update clients about new or changed products and manage their portfolios accordingly.Validate client details according to product and regulatory standards and process new business through appropriate channels.Conduct due diligence to identify and flag risks.Manage daily appointments, prioritizing clients and accommodating walk-in clients.In-branch Client Service and Retention Service and manage client profiles to retain clients, including sending reminders, follow-ups, and addressing queries.Manage NTUs (clients Not Taken Up) and implement controls and corrective actions.Maintain client payment persistency and support clients with payment arrangements.Handle policy cancellations and provide alternatives, escalating issues as needed.Quality, Compliance, and Development Adhere to compliance and quality standards.Maintain registration, product knowledge, and CPD points.Identify risks and report fraudulent activities.Keep records of advice and activities for regulatory compliance.Monthly Planning and Reporting Report daily activities using relevant technology platforms.Compile data for weekly and monthly reports.Assist with ad-hoc tasks as requested by the Retail Branch Manager.Qualifications Matric (Grade 12)RE5 advantageousFAIS Compliant (Wealth Management) as per DOFA requirementsClass of Business training (to be completed within 12 months of employment)Knowledge and Experience Relevant experience in financial advising and product knowledge preferred.
