Bookkeeper (Mornings Only)

Description Our client in the Road Freight & Logistics industry is currently looking to employ an experienced Bookkeeper; based at their Port Elizabeth operation.Mornings only : 08h00 to 14h00 Monday to FridayA wonderful career opportunity awaits you. Requirements:3 years Bookkeeping experience.Experience with Sage / Pastel.Relevant Diploma would be advantageous.Must be bilingual.Can work under pressure.Experience with banking transactions and internet banking an advantage.Experience with Debtors.Experience with Creditors.Experience with VAT returns. Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:Handling and processing of debtor invoices.Recording of creditor invoices.Collection of all bank accounts (there are more than one) and reconciling these on a daily/weekly basis.Allocation of all transactions.Allocating debtor payments to the relevant debtor.Uploading creditor payments in FNB and sending them for approval.Allocating payments to creditors from the bank to the relevant creditors.Allocating all other transactions on the bank to the relevant expense accounts.Debtor and creditor accounts must be reconciled monthly. Outstanding debtors must also be followed up monthly for collection.The candidate must be able to pull reports from Sage Accounting and provide them to the Manager on a monthly/weekly basis.
