Bookkeeper

NDC Personnel & Contractors has an exciting position for a Bookkeeper at a specialised manufacturer in Cape Town In this key role, you will be responsible for managing cash flow, overseeing creditors payments, and ensuring that the companys financial objectives are met. You will handle all accounting entries up to trial balance, maintain the nominal ledger, and ensure that supporting documentation is accurate and up to date. Your responsibilities will also include preparing monthly management accounts, maintaining the fixed asset register, preparing VAT returns, and assisting with foreign payment plans. As Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial part in cash flow management by analysing creditors aging reports and monitoring bank accounts. The ideal candidate will have at least a minimum diploma qualification, with strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office. You should have a keen eye for detail, excellent analytical skills, and strong financial acumen. Bilingual communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential, along with a pleasant demeanour and a high level of integrity and trust.
