Job title: BOH Operations Manager Our client is seeking a highly skilled Back of House (BOH) Operations Manager to lead essential functions across production, yield management, and wholesale operations.
This role will play a vital part in optimizing production processes and overseeing procurement, stock management, and warehousing.
The ideal candidate has a strong analytical background, is tech-savvy, and possesses proven people management skills.
With an upcoming system implementation, our client is looking for someone experienced in cross-functional operations and ready to contribute immediately.
Key Responsibilities: Production and Yield Management : Streamline production processes, focusing on maximizing efficiency and improving yield.
Wholesale Production : Oversee wholesale production operations, ensuring quality and consistency.
Cost/Product Engineering : Collaborate on cost analysis and product engineering to enhance profitability.
Procurement and Basket Reviews : Act as the Buyer, managing procurement processes and performing regular basket reviews.
Warehousing and Stock Transfers : Coordinate inventory management, warehousing, and seamless stock transfers.
Waste Management : Implement systems to track and minimize waste effectively.
System Implementation : Provide critical support in an upcoming system implementation, ensuring all operational areas align with new processes.
Qualifications and Skills: Strong background in production, procurement, and warehousing.
Analytical and tech-savvy, with the ability to interpret data to drive efficiency.
Proven expertise in managing BOH operations, including production and cost optimization.
Excellent people management skills with experience in leading teams.
Salary : Roughly R45,000 gross, negotiable and depending on experience.
Location: Grabow based store.
