Back-End Developer

Job Purpose:  Develop and maintain backend infrastructure and features for the platform.
Focus on writing scalable and high-performance backend code.
Hybrid Working Module (2 Days work from home) Requirements: Education: IT/Computer Science Degree or equivalent (Essential) AWS Certificates, Java OCA (Desirable) Experience: 5+ years backend development Cloud environments, Java, relational databases Skills & Knowledge (Essential): Java, Spring Boot Relational Databases (MySQL), SQL AWS (Lambda, RDS, ECS, S3) Token-based authentication REST APIs, Git version control Agile (Scrum/Kanban) Skills & Knowledge (Desirable): Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform Java libraries (Hibernate, Lombok) Atlassian (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) Frontend basics (JavaScript, React.js, HTML, CSS)   Key Duties Design & Architecture (10%) : Develop scalable database, cloud, and Java code architecture Writing Code (40%) : Implement and maintain high-quality, efficient backend code Testing (10%) : Write and update unit tests, conduct manual testing DevOps (15%) : Manage builds, deployments, and monitoring in AWS Documentation (10%) : Maintain technical documentation for systems and code Leadership & Mentoring (10%) : Provide technical guidance and conduct code reviews Research & Business Delivery (5%) : Stay updated on new technologies and suggest improvements
