Automotive JIG & Pattern MakerDuties / Responsibilities:Completion of engineering technical service schedules & request is an integral part of daily activitiesDesign and manufacture pattern moulds from drawings, specifications, CAD, and samplesRepair & maintenance of patterns as required & in accordance with planned preventative maintenance programmeManufacture of patterns, jigs & fixture from interpretation of tool and component drawingsDesign of patterns, jigs & fixtures from data, input from line and General Development personnel, etc.The execution of this function includes:Operation Power-and Band Saw M/CsManufacture of Vacuum Formed Metalizing JigsSpotting of in of patternsArgon & arc weldingOperation of Hand ToolsSurface grindingOperation & reading of measuring instruments, telescopic gauges, micrometres, comparators, etc.Computer Literate with CAD experienceMinimum Requirements:Trade Tested Pattern MakerThree years relevant experienceComputer Literate with CAD experience will serve as added advantageMS Project Management, SolidWORKS/Autodesk Inventor or Catia highly advantageous
