ASSISTANT CONCIERGE Ensure smooth functioning of the hotel concierge departmentMinimum Requirements: ESSENTIAL 2 years experience in a 4 or 5 star establishment in a Concierge role ESSENTIAL 2 years experience within a supervisory capacityMatric certificate or equivalentA degree or diploma in Hospitality is preferredAdditional language/s would be highly advantageousFully computer literate in Microsoft Office Working knowledge of OperaKnowledge of Front Office policies and procedures Key Responsibilities: Thorough knowledge of the local and surrounding attractions including major tourist attractions, theatre productions, excursions, etc. meet and exceed guest requestsEnsure seamless communication between all stakeholders within the role, these include Front Office Management, Front Office team, guests, internal departments, etc. Responsible to oversee Porters, Drivers and Doormen and ensure execution of their tasksOversee and enforce hotel policies and procedures among subordinatesEnsure Leading Hotels of the World and Mystery Shopper compliance among subordinatesExecution of IR, performance management, reward and recognition, staff training and succession planning for subordinates in consultation with Front Office Management
