ROLE PURPOSE:Assist the Holdings Financial Manager in managing the Holdings financial processes.SPECIFIC OUTCOMES / ACCOUNTABILITY:Aspen Pharmacare Holdings Ltd - Monthly: Intercompanies: Invoicing of intercompany chargesReceipting of intercompany chargesPreparation of monthly journalsPreparation of intercompany confirmationsConfirm intercompany balances with affiliates within the required deadline Reviewing of:Processing batches to ensure correct allocations and accuracyCreditor Reconciliations to ensure completeness and accuracy Monthly tax submissions:Ensure that the VAT computation is accurately completed and payment made on time and in fullCompletion of the Tax committee questionnaire as required by Group TaxPayment of Provisional tax (when applicable) Review of:Expense claim tracker Preparation of:Standard monthly journals (provisions, monthly accruals)New standard operating procedures (SOP’s)General Ledger Reconciliations for all Intercompanies and any other adhoc recons.Assist in projects that need to be implementedPreparation and submission of any treasury requests inclusive of the monthly forex PL submissionsLoading of vendors on the e-forex platformReceipting of inward payments Aspen Pharmacare Holdings Ltd – Quarterly:Calculation of forecast intercompany recharges to all affiliatesSend out quarterly recharges to affiliatesLiaise with cost centre managers and help with preparation of the forecastAspen Pharmacare Holdings Ltd – Annually:Calculation of budgeted intercompany recharges to all affiliatesSend out budgeted recharges to affiliatesPrepare relevant schedules for external auditorsLiaise with cost centre managers and help with preparation of the budgetAnswer any queries and questions of external auditors re year end Adhoc:Sort out any queries as they ariseAssist with putting processes in place to clear all audit issuesQUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE:Matric CertificateDegree in AccountingAt least 5 Years’ Experience in a relevant environmentExtensive Experience working with cross border intercompaniesKnowledge and experience with Budgeting and Forecasting processes – an advantageBEHAVIOURS: ProactiveSelf-StarterWilling to learnWilling to go the extra mileEnthusiastic and PassionateSelf-driven and MotivatedSKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:Computer Literate - proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and computer system e.g. Baan, SAP etc.Time managementProblem SolvingAttention to DetailTeam playerCorporate GovernancePlanning and OrganisingKNOWLEDGE:Knowledge of BusinessKnowledge of processesPolicy and procedureFinance knowledgeSystem knowledgeCOMPETENCIES:Performance DrivenMakes Good DecisionsAccountability/OwnershipDeals with Ambiguity and Embraces changeCommunicates EffectivelyTakes Action with IntegrityAspen is committed to the principles of equal employment opportunity.
