About The Role
As part of our ongoing growth efforts, we're looking to build out a hyper local growth model, led by a cross functional area lead who will coordinate all sales, support and activation efforts across his area.
This role requires a seasoned sales leader who can drive results at the local level, while also effectively leveraging centralized resources and collaborating cross-functionally.
The ideal candidate will have a track record of sales team leadership as well as experience with community marketing and engagement strategies.
Please note, this role will be based in Pretoria.
What You Will Be Doing
Manage and oversee all localised, on-the-ground efforts within your assigned regionHit growth targets and goals for your area of responsibilityCarefully coordinate and execute community marketing initiatives, as well as nurturing activities in your local marketManage and lead local sales teams, providing direction and oversightWork closely with local account managers to align sales and customer engagement effortsLeverage strong central enablement teams and processes to support your regional operationsDrive strong adherence to process and systems across the teamProvide coaching and training where neededGrow your understanding and influence in the region as a representative of Yoco
About You
Over 3 years of experience leading and managing a field sales or account management teamFamiliarity with building and implementing community-driven growth strategies (preferred)Proficient with Salesforce or other CRM platformsExcellent communication skills to report progress and coordinate efforts up, down, and across the organizationEntrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentYou're driven by the vision of helping small businesses across the world thriveProven ability to lead cross-functional project teams and interact with stakeholders at all levelsYou're an entrepreneur at heart, love getting your hands dirty and solving problemsGoing the extra mile is part of your DNAProactive problem solverLifelong learner, loves a challengeExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalOutstanding interpersonal and team skillsAbility to easily adapt to a number of environments and tasksCan drive your own boat: the ability to fearlessly use the resources at your fingertips to resolve challenges especially when you don't know the answer
